Eight Month Portfolio

Floating Max

Eight Month Portfolio of Craig Sillitoe Photography

It’s been eight months since Craig Sillitoe Photography started so it’s time to share my eight month portfolio. I had planned to do this at six months but was so caught up shooting that it flew by.

I’m fortunate to be busy in a slow time for business. Hopefully that’s down to producing strong images. Of course clients also value speed, and efficiency. But mostly they want someone who’s friendly, and who solves problems.

Recently I had a call from a client of a client. She was being featured in MamaMia.com.au and needed to provide pictures asap. The next morning we had converted her living room table to a board room to shoot a seriesof corporate portraits. The autumn leaves made a great backdrop for the lifestyle images. By that afternoon she was emailing her photos away. It reminds me of newspaper work, but with bigger lights.

I’m shooting images for terrific people at, Clean Energy Council, Victoria Police, Chorus Studio designers, AGL, Luna Park, The Weekly Review, and Community Sector Banking among others.  If you happen to need images anytime soon, you know where I am.

Annual Report Photography for Clean Energy Council

Craig Sillitoe Shoots for Clean Energy Council

I just spent the most amazing month shooting this years annual report photography for the Clean Energy Council. An assignment that took me to four states photographing assets operated by Clean Energy Council members. Amongst the twelve locations that I photographed there was CSR House in Sydney (an eight start energy efficient house), Walkaway Wind Farm near Geraldton W.A. which has 49 wind turbines, and Tasmania’s amazing Gordon Dam & Hydro Electricity plant. Big thanks goes to Nikki Galovic at CEC who’s logistical support was fantastic, and to all the friendly staff at each of our locations as well, thanks heaps team.

Craig Sillitoe’s Event Photography For Headspace’s ‘Fifth Army’ Campaign

Craig Sillitoe’s Event Photography For Headspace Launch

HeadSpace Event Photography

Craig Sillitoe’s event photography skills were called on to help promote a world-first youth mental health campaign. The Fifth Army campaign, which uses a mobile app to engage young people in mental health issues was launched in Federation Square. It focuses on three of the biggest issues affecting young Australians – bullying, depression and homophobia.

Australian musician, model and presenter Ruby Rose leads the charge as the Three Star General as The Fifth Army, singer-songwriter and The Voice finalist, Sarah De Bono, fronts the bullying division, fulltime lifeguard and star of Channel Ten TV show Bondi Rescue, Trent ‘Maxi’ Maxwell heads up the depression division and Neighbours actor James Mason leads the homophobia division.

Three Star General of The Fifth Army, Ruby Rose said the campaign is about everybody getting together and taking action to make a difference.

“Join because your brother might be getting bullied, or your best friend might be experiencing homophobic taunts. Get yourself educated on all the divisions,” said Rose.

“It’s a small thing to do to help the community at large change. Because something needs to and this is where it starts.”
